I phased the night feed out at 21 months and her last meal was around 5/530pm and she slept through without the milk. The recommend primary nutrition is breast of formula milk until baby is 1 years old.All the best lovely x

If you are feeding to make her fall asleep, try and separate feeding from sleep.
Ava was eating a lot more food by time I gave up and she didn’t need or want more milk it was purely for comfort.
Maybe get hubby or someone else to put you infant to bed and you leave the house or wait outside the house, babe might not even be bothered by that last feed. All the best lovely x

She takes 1 feed first thing in the morning then 1 feed after dinner/just before bed. With the morning feed I guess I can do what you did and give her breakfast straight away, however any tips on the before bed feed? I feel like that’s her way of falling asleep and staying full on the milk which helps her sleep through the night – how long before bed did you give Ava dinner?

Yes if you want your sleep back – stop feeding to sleep… follow this routine… feed, play, sleep ! It may be hard breaking the habit to begin with but have no association with feeding and sleep… what we did, if Ava cried during the night rather feed her back to sleep, my husband would go in and pat her and walk out when she was settled. All the best lovely xx of desperate go see a sleep trainer.
