Hi there,
your post is very encouraging, thank you very much for writing about how hard these transitions can be. We just went through a similar transition and working and breastfeeding is really exhausting! Our little one is now 8 months old and in daycare two days a week. At the beginning I was bumping milk until my hubby and I decided on trying to supplement with baby formula. She was very picky and wouldn’t drink the formula at the beginning until we did change to the hipp organic formula (https://myorganicformula.com/collections/hipp-organic-formula). Since that point things became way easier. I still breastfeed her once a day but during daycare and also in the evening she takes the bottle, what is great. Also my hubby can feed her now what he and I like a lot 😀
Anyways the process to get there was quite exhausting but it was worth it!

Thank you so much for sharing! I am planning to send my 17mo girl to daycare and return to work soon – she is also fully breastfed and been on BLW since she was 6mo. It’s really hard not to worry and let go, but I know she will enjoy the discovery and socialization. Would you mind sharing with me via email which daycare is Ava at?

I genuinely teared up reading this – my little girl is due to start full time childcare just before she turns 1 y.o. (currently 7 months) and I’ve been stressing so much about her not taking a bottle. She is also an enthusiastic breastfeeder and early days for her on BLW but doing well. This was just a similar situation to the one I foresee in a couple of months and it’s made me relax much more on it. I can’t thank you enough!! I’m going to ‘re read this everytime I start panicking about it! Thank you again! X
