Sue can! They can freeze up to 3 months in airtight container. To defrost just leave out in room temperature for 30min-1hr ?

you can use quick oats or rolled oats. Yes you can freeze them for up to 3 months. Defrost in the fridge over night.

I think the night before would be ideal, a few mornings I put them on the counter as soon as we got up and by breakfast they were fine (maybe 2 hours)…but I usually forgot…so most days ended up popping them in the microwave and using the defrost setting in 30 second intervals until no longer frozen in center…

Update. I flash froze the balls on a tray, then bagged it. Defrosting properly was a bit of a challenge and they sometimes ended up a little warm but still tasty and baby loves them! So, I make a big batch of these! I use a cookie scoop to get the same size….he now eats 4-5 at breakfast!! Thank you for recipe!

The oats are soaked and mixed with the yogurt which softens them up ?just like Muesli… it didn’t upset Ava’s tummy.

Do you really not cook them before combining with the other ingredients?
