Both is ok. I would personally start with baby using hands to learn about textures and control then move to the pre-loaded spoon. It will get a little messy just serve a little bit at a time and let baby enjoy having fun! X

My 8 month old son, Charlie, loves the recipes and I find them super easy to whip together – which is saying something as I’m a pretty rubbish cook! We were struggling with introducing solids and this guide has really helped both of us find yummy, healthy food and a new eating routine. Plus the pictures give me confidence that I’m doing it right! Will certainly recommend to other mums. Cheers! Alli x

Both my children have multiple food intolerances so finding food they can both eat is difficult. I decided to make these omitting the banana as it disagree with them both (they both love bananas too ?) and trial out peanut butter instead. It worked and neither has had a reaction so far which is incredible. Thanks so much, we made some on Friday but we ate them all so had to make another batch today. I’ll try freezing some but I doubt they will make it that far ? Thank you. Your recipes are fabulous. So tasty ???

Ethan has taken BLW amazingly well and has transitioned from spoon feeding (early weaned as he was prem) to blw. I still offered him a spoon feed to begin with as he was used to having his meals from it but now he wont even take a spoon, unless he holds it himself. He’s a clever boy 😍 My toddler Oliver (3 yrs old) is also in these pics and is eating a lot of the meal plan too! I’ve made this once and now trying a second time. I didn’t realize 250g is 2 cups (just read the comments) and I did 1 cup at first… google conversion failed me. This time I did 2 cups of flour but the batter is really dry. Is 243ml of milk the same as 1 cup?

1 flax eeg = 1 egg.

Try using flax egg. 1 tablespoon of flaxseed meal with 2.5tbs of water and let it sit for 10 minutes until egg consistency.
