Ingredients
1.Rice flour
2.salt
3.hot water
Method:
1.Bring water to boil well.
2.In a bowl add rice flour( u can use ready made iddiyappam flour,i use homemade,for home made sieve well and remove the granules,use only fine powder) and salt.mix.
3.Add hot water little by little and mix with a wooden stick without lumps.mix well the flour will get cooked with the of the hot water itself.the correct consistency is, the dough will not stick in hands.
4.then press using idiyappam presser and spread on greased idli plate.
And cook.in about 5-8 min the idiyappam will be ready.
I don't spread on idli plate.i have set for it to spread and keep it on idli plate & cook.
