Lady' finger/Okra/Vendaikai side dish


We all make different side dish everyday for rice,this is one such and it goes well with any gravy,sambar.It taste good too.Try it.Its very easy to make.




Ingredients:

1.Lady's finger- 1\4 kg
2.Onion-1
3.Green chilli-1(or to ur spice level)
4.Mustard-to temper
5.oil-little
6.Curry leaves
7.Salt to taste.
8.Turmeric powder-little
9.Coconut grated


Method:

1.Clean & cut the vegetables,onion& chilli.

2.Heat oil in kadai,add mustard,onion,green chilli& curry leaves.Saute for a while.

3.Then add ur cut vegetables,turmeric powder & salt.

4.Mix well &cook in open.Sometimes the bottom smell like burnt,just sprinkle little water& cook.

5.In about 5-8 min ur dish will be ready.Top it with grated coconut & serve.
