Seppankizhangu fry ( not deep fry)

Hope all are familiar with this.Its a good side with rice.


1. Seppankizhangu/Colocasia / arbi- 15-17 kashmiri chilli powder- 2 tsp
3.turmeric pwdr-1 tsp
4.ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
5.cumin/jeera powder- 1 tsp
6.rice flour- 2 tsp
7.onion (big)-1
8.salt- to taste
9.mustard- 1 tsp
10.oil- 2 to 3 tsp.


1.Wash kizhangu and cook with water .It should not be over cooked.

2.Remove from flame & peel the skin.Cut into pieces.

3.Add all powders ,ginger garlic paste ,salt & mix well.

4.Cut onions length wise.

5.In a pan add oil,followed by mustard,onion,curry leaves.Immediately add the mixed kizlangu and saute little.

6.Close ur pan & cook.In about 5- 10 min ur fry will be ready.
