This kichadi i learnt for you tube, as ,they say it will be tasty, tried once it was good, then tried again so decided to post & took pictures. It was said that they take this during fasting.
4.Ginger- small piece(finely chopped)
5.Green chilli-1 chopped
6.jeera/cumin seed-1 tsp
9.Coriander to garnish
1.Soak sago in water for 6 to 8 hrs.It should be double in size.
2.Then wash it well till the water colour is clear,drain all water & keep.
3.Boil potato & chop it to small pieces.
4.Dry roast peanuts,cool & grind to a coarse in whip mode.
5.Heat oil in a kadai,add jeera,ginger& chilli,saute well.
6.Then add chopped potato & ground peanuts to it.
7.Then add ur soaked sago,pepper & salt,mix well.
8.Cook for five min. in slow flame don't cover it,till the sago become translucent.
9.Garnish & serve.
