Yesterday in podhighai channel they told in a cookery show about this peanut murukku,i decided to try and tried today.The result was awesome nice crispy,tasty murukku to crunch for tea time.
- Rice flour- 1 cup
- Peanut -1\4 cup
- Ghee/oil-1 or 2 tbsp
- Hing-1\4 tsp
- Sesame seeds-1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil to fry.
1.Soak peanut in water for 1 hrs.Grind it to smooth paste using little water.
2.In a big mixing bowl add rice flour,ground peanut paste,salt,sesame seeds,hing, 1 tbsp hot oil/ghee and mix well to a soft dough by adding little water if needed.
3.Heat oil in kadai for frying,fill the dough in murukku presser and spread over hot oil.
4.Turn both sides and cook,remove and drain in kitchen towel/tissue.
Crispy ,yummy murukku is ready.
1.If needed add another 1 tbsp ghee/oil.
