Today i came with an easy side dish for rice/Kootu with sweet potato,i do have another version of make it cheack it out here.This dish is very easy to make %& tasted excellent,if i make this my daughter will finish it off fully.
P.Time- 15mins, Serves- 3
- Sweet potato- 1\4 kg
- Grated coconut- 1\2 cup
- Red chilli- 4 r 5
- Jeera/cumin seeds- 1 tsp
- Garlic pods-5
- Turmeric powder- 1\2 tsp
1. Cut sweet potato into medium pieces and it to boiling water cook for just 5min,be careful not to over cook.
2.Cool completely and remove the skin and just cut each piece in to two.
3.Meanwhile take grated coconut,red chilli,jeera,t.powder,garlic pods in mixer and gring it to a coarse paste,no need to add water.
4.Heat oil in a kadai, add the items under " to temper" and add ground paste and saute for a while .
5.Then add the cooked sweet potato to it& add salt .mix well till everything blends well.
Serve with hot rice and any gravy.
