For this month egg less baking group Jayanthi of Sizzling Veggies decided to make donuts, I thought we have to bake it and baked ,but other friends have fried it.
Coming about this wonderful donuts,two years back when we went to Dubai,i asked my hubby for it to taste since then I haven't tasted it.My husband brought a big box full with soo many topping,as it was on our travel date we couldn't eat it all. I enquired my husband about the remaining,he easily said we throw it out.But now we carve for it.
I have been thinking for making this donuts at home for a long time and its was the theme this month.

Flour-2 1\2 cup + for dusting
Milk- 1 cup
Melted butter- 1 tbsp.
Dry yeast- 1 1 \2 tsp.
Vanilla- 1 tsp.
Baking powder- 1\2 tsp.
Sugar- 3\4 cup + 1 tbsp
1. In a cup of warm milk add yeast and 1 tbsp. sugar.Rest it to be forthy.
2.In a mixing bowl add flour,b.powder,powdered sugar.Make dent in the centre.Mix butter with the milk and into the flour mix.
3.Mix well and keep it in a greased pan for it to rise.
4.Then take it out and transfer it to the floured worksheet and knead well .
5.Roll it,and cut it with a doughnut cutter. I didn't have it,i used small cap and a glass for it.
6.Arrange it on the pan and bake it in a pre-heated oven for 10-12min at 180C.
7.Remove from the oven,cool it well and decorate as per ur idea.
Here is how I did:
1. Mixed cocoa powder with icing sugar,gently poured milk to it and got the required texture.
Dipped the baked donuts to it and sprinkled with toppings.
2.Mixed Icing sugar,strawberry mix &milk.dipped donuts in it.
