Bread sticks with step by step pictures.
This was in my list to do for a long,at last, i made it. Although the shape is not so perfect i will make it better next time.It calls for garlic powder but I didn't have it in hand,i somehow dried some garlic in oven and powder it,but it didn't work as it became a mass.I have coated the sticks with that only. You can see something sticking on the outer surface of it, it is that what I powdered, but the taste was too good.Try using garlic powder.

- Flour/maida- 1 cup
- Active dry yeast- 1 tsp
- Milk powder- 2 tsp
- Sugar- 2 tsp
- Olive oil- 3 tbsp + for brushing
- Salt - 1\2 tsp
- Dry herbs- 1 tsp
- Garlic powder for brushing on top
- Baking powder- a pinch(optional)
- Warm water
1.Take warm water in a bowl,add yeast ,sugar and salt,mix well.leave it to become foamy.
2.After it has become frothy,add flour,baking powder,milk powder and oil and knead it well.
3. Transfer it to an oiled bowl and cover it to double in volume.
4.Take the dough, punch out the air and knead well.Roll it on rolling pin and cut into strips. Arrange it on the oiled baking tray.
5.Brush on top with olive oil and dust dry herbs and garlic powder over it and set aside to slightly rise.
6.Bake it in a pre-heated oven for 15-20 mins at 180 deg C until it becomes light brown.
1. Baking time may vary for oven, check it when it becomes brown color.
2.You can even add cheese and fold to it and roll or grate on top.
