This is one of the easiest kuzhumbu which can be made in jiffy.The ingredients needed for it will be in ur pantry for sure.Try out this easy gravy.
- 1\2 cup shallot/pearl onion/small onion
- 3\4 cup garlic pearls
- Tamarind- small lemon size
- Sambar powder- 2 tbsp( or red chilly and corriander powder)
- Turmeric powder- 1\4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil-3 tsp
- Mustard- 1\2 tsp
- Methi/fenugreek seeds- 1\4 tsp
- Hing powder-1\4 tsp
- Curry leaves
1.Soak tamarind in water and extract juice of it.
2.Heat oil in a kadai and add tempering items under " to temper" followed by onion and garlic.
3.Saute it till it turns golden brown.
4.Add the powders ,salt and tamarind juice,bring to boil.
5.Keep in low-medium flame till it thicken and oil separates.
Serve for hot steamed rice.
