As yesterday was my daughter's birthday i prepared some items for it and this masala was one among it,also made blue velvet cake for her,ada pradaman,chicken curry with idli and chappathi.Some of the recipes will follow soon.About this masala it was soooo creamy,rich and taste awesome do give a try once.We all loved it very much.
- Capsicum/Bell pepper-3,cubed(red,yellow,green -one each)
- Onion-3,small sized
- Tomato-2 small
- ginger-a piece
- garlic-5 pods
- Red chilly powder-1 tsp
- coriander powder-2 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
- garam masala-1\2 tsp
- salt to taste
- oil-2 tbsp
- Bay leaf-1
- Jeera seeds-1 tsp
To roast & powder
- Oil-1\2 tsp
- Ground nut/peanuts-2 tsp
- cashew nuts-10 to 12
1.Clean the capsicum and cube it in to small pieces.Roast cashew and ground nut in a tsp of oi.cool it and powder it.
2.Grind onion,tomato,ginger and garlic to a fine paste.

4.In the same pan add oil and add the bay leaf and cumin seeds.Add the ground paste and saute till the raw smell goes.then add red chilly powder,turmeric powder and coriander powder and saute till it all cooked.add some water and bring to boil.
5.Then add the sauted bell pepper,salt and powdered nuts and cook till all binds together.
Tasty and creamy capsicum masala is ready.Serve with roti/naan.
1.Add spice powder according to your spice level.
