- Lotus seeds-2 cup
- Onion-1 big
- Tomato-1 big
- green chilly-2 small
- Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
- Red chilly powder- 1 tsp
- coriander powder-1 1\2 tsp
- turmeric powder-1\3 tsp
- garam masala-1\2 tsp
- Cashew & badam-5 each
- Salt to taste
- Cumin seeds-to temper
- Oil-2 tbsp
1.Dry roast lotus seeds till it becomes crispy.
2.Heat a tbsp of oil and saute onion,green chilly and tomato init till the onion becomes translucent.Cool it and grind to a paste.Soak the nuts in hot water for 15mins and grind to paste with some water.
3.Heat another tbsp oil in the same pan temper jeera seeds followed by the ground onion-tomato paste and saute for a while.Then add ginger garlic paste.
4.Add in all spice powder along with salt.add some water till all masala blends well.Add in the roasted makhana and cashew-almond paste and cook for some time.
Garnish with cilantro/coriander leaves and serve with roti/naan.
