Thanks to the blogging world which had made me explore new dish and do some new innovation in it too.Recently i had started making dip with many vegetables and here comes on of it.
Prep.time-5 mins,cook time-5 mins.
- Pumpkin cubed-1\2 cub
- Channa dal/bengal gram dal/kadalai paruppu-1 tbsp
- Urad dal/ulluntham paruppu-1 tbsp
- Red chilly-3 to 4
- Tamarind-a small berry size
- garlic pod-1(optional)
- Salt to taste
- oil-1\2 tsp
1.Heat oil in a pan and roast channa dal,urad dal and red chilly till a nice aroma comes.
Remove from oil and cool it.
2.In the same pan add the cubed pumpkin pieces and saute fro 5-8 mins till it slightly becomes soft.Remove and cool it.
3.Put everything in a mixer along with salt,garlic(if using) and tamarind and grind it to a fine paste.
Tasty and easy dip is ready.
1.Add spice level according to your taste.
