Beef Pickle | Beef Recipe

If you love beef then I am damn sure you will love this beef pickle too.This is my sister-in-law's recipe ,she makes it very tasty.



Ingredients:


  • Beef- 1\2 kg
  • shallot/small onions-20
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  • Green chilly,silted-2
  • Red chilly powder-1 tsp
  • garam masala -1\2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1 tsp
  • White vinegar-1\2 cup
  • Sesame/gingelly oil- 1\3 to 1\2 cup
  • Curry leaves-few
  • salt to taste




Method:

1.Clean the cut the beef in to small pieces.Marinate it with turmeric powder and some salt.Let it be for 30mins -1 hrs.

2.Mean while peel the skin of onions,coarsely grind  half of it and chop half of it.

3.Heat gingelly oil and fry the marinate beef pieces in batches till its is fried well.This is very important.



4.Then in the same oil saute chopped  shallots first then ground onion paste with green chilly& curry leaves.

5.Then add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell vanishes.Add in masala powder and salt.

6.Lastly add in the fried beef pieces and saute for some time till everything blends well,switch off and allow to cool.

7.Transfer it to clean dried bottle/container and pour in the vinegar till it is immersed well.



8.Shake it daily for about 15 days till the beef pieces gets well soaked  in vinegar.

After 15-days use dry spoon to take out .

Its stay good in room temperature.

1,Use clean dry spoon,

  2. Beef pickle looks wonderful, here nearby home there is an stall full of NV pickles. Never had them, the way you prepared makes me to shop some right now :D
