Meat Stuffed Paratha / Keema Flatbread | Easy Dinner Recipe



 Stuffed paratha is one of the easiest dinner recipe as it need no side dish  can be had with pickle,curd/yogurt.Here for the stuffing i have used meat,you can use chicken or beef.



Preparation time: 30 mins
Cooking time:15 mins

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • Wheat flour-1 cup
  • oil-2 tsp
  • Salt-to taste
  • Water-as needed


For the meat mix:

  • Meat- 200 gms 
  • oil-3 tsp
  • Onion-1 big
  • ginger-1 inch piece
  • garlic pods-8-10
  • green chilly-1 big
  • Turmeric powder-1\2  tsp
  • Red chilly powder-1\2 tsp
  • coriander powder-1\2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • garam masala-1\4 tsp
  • coriander leaves-1\4 cup

Method:

For the dough:

Mix flour,oil and salt in a bowl.Add water little by little and make a non sticky dough.Mak e  lemom size balls out of it.Cover the dough for some time.Mean while we will prepare the stuffing.

For parathas:

1.Clean the meat and pressure cook it with 1\4 tsp turmeric powder and little salt fro 3-4 whistle.Cool and mince the meat in the mixer.Also grind onion,ginger,garlic  and green chilly to a coarse paste.



2.Heat oil in a pan,add the ground onion paste and saute till the raw smell goes.Then add in all powders,salt and saute fro a while.Add in the cooked,minced meat and 1\4 cup water for the masala to blend with the meat.cook for some time.Add chopped coriander leaves and switch off.

Your stuffing is ready.



3.Take a ball of dough roll it in the rolling pan in to a small round,keep some stuffing  keep  in the centre and close it from all side and twist it.Slightly flatten the ball with hand  or rolling pin.Cook it on a heated tawa till you seen brown spots on it.Add little butter on the paratha(purely optional).



4.Repeat the same for all the dough balls.Serve with curd/yogurt or any sauce.
