Potatoes are liked by almost all age group, i guess same here too we all love it.When i was making this baby potato recipe my daughter was soo hungry i suggested her eat any snack but she replied i can wait any long to eat this because its potato. With nothing more lets go off to the recipe.
Preparation time- 15 mins
cooking time: under 30 mins
serves: 2 to 3
- Baby potato- 1 cup r 250 gms
- Oil- 2 tbsp
- jeera-1\2 tsp
- Tomato-1, pureed
- Red chilly powder-1 r 2 tsp(Add according to ur taste buds)
- turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- Garam masala- 1\2 tsp
- Milk-1\4 cup or curd( i used milk)
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves to garnish
- Ginger-a small piece
1.Clean the potato and pressure cook it with water for 1 r 2 whistle.Cool and remove the skin.Heat 1 tbsp of oil in pan and roast this cooked baby potato well till it becomes little brown.
2.Grind all the items under to grind to a paste form.Heat a tbsp of oil in another kadai, add the jeers seeds and the ground paste.Saute till the paste is well cooked( this is important).
3.the add the tomato puree and dry masala with some water for the raw smell of the powder to vanish.
4.Then add milk and fried potato along with oil.Cook till everything blends wells.Check for salt. When it becomes little thick switch off.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti.
One day i made with curd and it was a dry sabzi/ version..While using curd it will curdle ,although it curdles it will taste very good.
