If you are a seafood lover then I am sure you will love this spicy squid masala too.The main thing involved the cleaning of the squids, please clean it well remove all dark tint and bone inside.If you didn't clean it well it may cause stomach upset.

- squid/kanavaa-1\2 kg(cleaned,cut into ring form)
- Red chilly powder-1 tsp
- Pepper powder-1\2 tsp
- Coriander powder-1 tsp
- turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
- Garam masala-1\4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil-2 tsp
- coriander leaves
To grind:** (check for variation)
- Shallot/small onion-7
- Ginger-a small piece
- Garlic pods-5
- Green chilly-1

2.Heat oil in a kadai/pan, add the ground paste and saute until raw smell goes.add tomato and cook till it becomes mushy.
3.Then add in all dry powders and saute.then add the squid and salt.
4.Cook for 5-8 mins.Add little water.(also don't overcook since it may become rubbery).
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot for rice.
Instead of grinding you can also saute onion, ginger garlic in oil and proceed.
