Thandai with step by step pictures.Happy Holi to all, my hearty wishes for all and I wish you lives be colourful.This thandai is a spiced milk with dry fruits and a must in this holi festival.Being a food blogger i too want try it.We all loved it to the core
- Milk-1\2 litre
- Sugar-1\4 cup( adjust to ur level)
- Rose essence-1 tsp
- Saffron and Almond flakes-few ( for topping)
To soak n grind:
- Poppy seeds-1 tsp
- Melon seeds-1 tsp
- Green cardamon-2
- Whole black pepper-few
- Fennel/saunf-1\4 tsp
1.Soak all the ingredients under to grind in water for an hour or more.peel the skin of almonds and with others to a paste with some water.
2.Boil the milk.Add sugar and ground paste and let it boil for some time and switch off.Let all the milk sit for some time for the spices to blend with milk.
3.Then filter the milk.add rose essence to it and mix well.
Refridgrate for 3-4 hrs ,garnish and serve .

1.If u don't have melon seeds u can skip but almonds and poppy seeds are must.
