Rava ladoo with step by step picturesதமிழ் புத்தாண்டு வாழ்த்துகள் . Wishing all reader Happy Tamil New year / Vishu greetings.No festival is complete without a sweet and hence I share an easy sweet recipe today.

Yields;15-20 ladoos(depending on size)
- Rava/sooji- 1 $ 1\2 cup
- sugar-1 cup
- ghee-1 tbsp
- milk-1\3 cup(boiled and cooled)
- grated coconut-1\3 cup (optional)
- Cashew & raisins-2 tbsp
1.Take the sugar and cardamon in the mixer and powder it.
2.Heat 1 tsp ghee,fry cashew and raisins in it.then add grated coconut and fry( no need to fry till it becomes dark).then remove from heat and set aside.
3.Add more ghee.add the rava/sooji and fry it well for few minutes.Switch off.
4.To it add the powdered sugar mix, fried nut-coconut and mix well.
5.Add the milk to it and mix well.Take a lemon size of it and make balls.Do it for all the mix.
Easy and simple ladoo is ready in a jiffy.
1. Don't add all the milk,first add little and check if ur able to make balls,if not then add.
2.You can increase the sugar level by 1\4 cup more as mine was little less,ok of us. If u prefer sweeter then increase.
3.If going to keep for long then avoid coconut.
4.Can use condensed milk also,in that case avoid sugar and milk. Add this condensed milk and make balls.
