Methi Seed is fibre rich and a best body cooler.It also has many medicinal properties and best for diabetic patient.As its summer i made this dosa for breakfast.
- Par boiled rice-1 cup
- Urad dal-2 tbsp
- Methi seeds/vendhayam-2 tbsp
- Salt to taste.
1.Wash rice,dal and methi seeds well.Soak in water for 2 to 3 hrs.
2.Drain the water and add it to the mixer and grind it to smooth paste by adding water little by little.
3.Transfer to a container,add salt keep it over night to ferment.
4.Next day heat a dosa tawa ,pour a ladle of batter and spread like thick dosa.Drizzle some oil around it ,cover and cook in medium flame.No need to flip over.
Serve hot with your favorite chutney/sambar or podi.
1.The fermentation time vary due to climate.In hot summer it ferment fast so pls check in between.
2.You can also make it as regular dosa.
