- Basmathi/raw rice-1\4 cup
- Milk- 2 to 3 cups
- Sugar-1\4 cup(adjust)
- Mango-1 big
- almond-few to garnish
- saffron strands
1.Clean the rice and soak in water for sometime.Then drain it and coarsely ground it.
2.Heat milk,when it boil add the ground paste and allow it the cook well.( this will be cooked soon as we have already soaked).
3.Then add in sugar and crushed cardamon.cook till it becomes thick and switch off.Meanwhile peel the mango,cube few pieces and blends other to fine paste in a mixer.
4.When the rice- milk has cooled a bit add the mango pulp and mix well.Chill it.
5.While serving add in chopped mango pieces ,the chilled mix,top it with nuts ,mango pieces,saffron strands and serve.
1.You can also use canned mango pulp if you don't have fresh one.
