Boiled Egg Masala | Egg recipe | Side dish for Roti/Chapathi

Boiled eggs are my kids favourite they fight for it  and this curry is often cooked in my kitchen but i have never blogged about it.But now is the time as priya has announced a giveaway event at her space so decided to blog it.Thanks priya i too make the same way,we had it with Ragi chapathi(that too from your space).

Cooking time:20 mins


  • Eggs-3
  • Onion-2,medium chopped
  • Tomato-2
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder-1 n 1\\2 tsp
  • coriander powder-2 tsp
  • turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
  • Garam masala-3\4 tsp
  • Oil-3 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • curry leaves


1.Boil water in  pan,add in egg,salt and allow it to boil for 5-7 mins.then cool  ,peel the shell and keep ready.

2.Heat oil in a pan,add in ginger garlic paste,saute then add onion saute till it becomes translucent.then add in chopped tomato and cook till it becomes mushy.

3.Then add in all dry powders and salt.cook for a while then add a cup cook of water,cook well it oil separates on top.add in curry leaves.

4.Drop in the halved boiled eggs to it and serve.
