I was longing to bake this gingerbread cookie for a long time but i don't have this cutter. When i saw it on a bakery suppliers FB page i immediately ordered and got couriered in two days.I have used mixed flours to make it a bit healthy.

Makes:2 dozens depending on size
- Wheat flour-1\2 cup
- Ragi (finger millet)flour-1\4 cup
- Maida/APf-1\4 cup
- Ginger powder-2 tsp
- Cinnamon powder-1\2 tsp
- Baking powder-1 tsp
- Vanaspathi/butter-1\2 cup( i used vanaspathi)
- brown sugar-1\2 cup
- Honey-1\4 cup
- Vanilla essence-1 tsp
- milk-2 tsp( as needed)
1.Mix all the flours with cinnamon powder,ginger powder and baking powder.
2.Cream butter and brown sugar well.Add in flour mix and blend well.Add in honey and essence and mix well and form a pliable dough.If your not able to get a pliable one add in milk and knead.
3.Cover it in cling fling and refrigerate overnight or 4 hours.When your about to bake thaw it.
4.Roll the dough to 1\2 inch thick ,cut it with the cutter and place it in a baking tray and bake for 12-15 mins until it browns a bit in the edge.Repeat for all dough.
5.Cool on a wire rack and serve.
