Prawn Fry | Prawn 65 | Shrimp Fry

Yesterday when the fish vendor bought this king size prawns with no second thought i bought it.Actually small ones are difficult to peel & clean but big size is easy and more important its fully fleshy.Made this tempting fry for dinner and relished it.

  • Prawns-1\2 kg
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  • red chilly powder- 1 n 1\2 tsp( adjust)
  • Pepper powder-1\2 tsp
  • turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
  • garam masala-1\2 tsp
  • corn flour-1 n 1\4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil- to fry
  • Curry leaves


1.De-vein and clean the prawn well.Drain water completely.

2.To it add ginger garlic paste,all dry powders,corn flour and salt.Mix it well to that it coats well.Keep for some time.

3.Heat oil in a pan,add the marinate prawns with curry leaves in batches,Pl don't dump it.Fry well.Drain excess oil.

Tasty prawns fry is ready.

1.You can add a egg to the marinating mix ,mix well and then fry.
