Potatoes is one of the fondest vegetable by all age groups and this dry curry with green peas along with it make an excellent combo.Influenced by a commercial in television my daughter was demanding me to do it since months. At last I fulfilled here wish last week by making this for dinner which was a super hit.Do try this and I'm you will be showered with appreciation from others in your family.

1.Soak green peas for 6- 8 hrs ( I usually soak them in huge amount & keep it reserve in the fridge for later use). Pressure cook or open cook the potato & green peas.(if using cooker just a whistle is enough).Peel the skin of potato & cut into pieces.
2.Heat oil in Kadai, add in ginger & garlic.saute till its raw smell vanish. Then add in chopped onion.saute it turn translucent. Then add in dry powders and tomato puree.cook for a while.
3.Then add the cooked peas& potato to the prepared gravy and cook till it absorbs all the flavours of the spices.Lastly crush the dried methi leaves and add to it.Switch off.
Serve with roti/naan or any flat bread.
1.You can also use fresh green peas.In that case don't use cooker for cooking.
