Chickoo ,known as sapota in Tamil is one of my favorite fruit . I can have it as such as I can without any fuss.Since my kids refuse to have this fruit I hardly buy them .Also since I haven't tried any new recipes with it , I thought of trying something new when I purchased few last time.With few pieces just went straight into my mouth I tried an ice cream and this shake for the sake of my kids .atleast I will be happy that they had it in some way.
Being naturally sweet limit the addition of sugar else you may have very high ended sugar product making it hard to indulge init.Here in this milk shake I just add little Nutella for the chocolatey effect to suppress the chikko taste.But you can even use cocoa powder or choc chips instead of it.Feel free to add your choice.For best result serve it chilled.

- Chikoo/sapotta- 4
- milk-1 cup
- condensed milk -1 tbsp
- water- 1\4 cup
- nutella- 2 tbsp ( adjust)
- cocoa powder- just to sprinkle ( optional)
1.Add everything into a mixer /blender and blend it well.If needed dilute with milk or water.
2.Pour into serving glass ,sprinkle some cocoa powder on top( if using) and serve.
1,If the fruit is too sweet avoid using condensed milk and use only milk.
