When its panniyaram, I always make sweet one for snacks ( may be because of my sweet tooth).My daughter always insist me to make kara/savory.Very rare I make kara panniyaram by mixing residual idli batter with avaliable flours in my pantry.One day when I want to make a different dinner apart from roti/rice I made this panniyaram with my left over millet dough along with fresh vegetables.Here I have used the vegetable as such but if you prefer you can slightly saute them in oil and add it to the batter.

I mostly prefer tea/chai for the evening and my day always starts with a cup of coffee.Since my kids don't drink tea or coffee I usually make simple tea or cardamom or ginger tea else combination of both.I have a small garden on my terrace where I grow some flowering plants, a banana tree and few kitchen greens.You can check the pictures on my Instagram account .I bought this lemon grass plant long back and had not used it in any recipes. On googling I found it's very useful for weight reduction and decided to first try a tea with it.With the aroma of lemon grass & ginger the tea tastes so unique and I have decided to make it often.

Mango chia seeds pudding is a vegan pudding made with coconut milk, chia seeds & mango pulp.This is my first vegan dessert and last mango recipe of the year.I mostly prefer/use milk in my dessert since my kids were fond of the coconut flavor in desserts.A packet of chia seeds was left unnoticed for a long time and want to use it soon.If you don't have this chia seeds you can also use sabja seeds which will be used in falooda.Making this dessert it so easily the only time consuming one is the time needed for the seeds to soak in coconut milk otherwise it will be
ready in few minutes.

Carrot mini bundt cakes with step by step pictures.My long term wish to make this carrot cake became sucess yesterday since I had failed init in my previuos attempt. I was so excited when the muffins were out from the oven and they simply tastes awesome with the flavors of cinnamon & ginger in it.Its perfect for evening snack with a cup of tea/chai and can also be served as breakfast for kids.

Idiyappam/ string hoppers is a food which is soft,steam cooked and is easily digested by all all age groups of people.When kids or people fall sick and in recovery stage doctor mostly refers easily digestible steamed  food like idli or idiyappam.When it is idiyappam for dinner my kids will be waiting to indulge init.Mostly I serve with plain red coconut chutney and very rarely some non-veg dish.

Mango mastani is a delicious drink made with mango pulp,milk, ice cream and topped with dry fruits and nuts.Is is one of the famous drink in Pune, a city in India. I have not tasted it but after trying this at home it was super tasty and we gulped all at one sip. It is made with mango, ice cream, milk, and sugar(if needed). It was a treat for all mango lovers.
