Avocado oats smoothie is a healthy,nutrious and filling smoothie.We all know oats nutrient composition is well balanced with proteins,vitamins, minerals and less fat.It has a powerful soluble fiber called beta-glucan which reduces cholesterol and blood sugar.It is good option for weight watchers as it is filling and healthy.Iron content in it is 20% of daily requirement. Adding avocado to it makes it even more healthier and power packed to start the day.
In this smoothie I have added both of it to make it a super healthy smoothie to kick start the day.I have used regular milk but for vegan option you can use almond or soya milk.
Preparation time; 5mins
Cooking time: 1 mins
- Oats-1 tbsp
- Milk- 1 cup (Boiled & cooled)
- Sugar to taste
- Nuts to garnish (optional)
1.Dry roast the while for a minute till an aroma comes.Switch off and cool it.
2.Cur open the fruit and discard the seeds.Scoop out the flesh.
3.In a mixer add oats,fruit flesh,milk and sugar.Blend it well.You can dilute it with milk or water.
4.Pour into glass, garnish with nuts and serve immediately .
1.Here I have used broken rolled oats but you can use instant oats also.
2.For vegan option you can use almond or soya milk.
