Masala Spinach pav/buns with step by step pictures.Spinach is a healthy green which is used widely everywhere. We can make a variety of dishes with this healthy green, together with dal or just stir fry or in salad and many more. Add its puree to make Indian flatbread varieties is also a way of including it. Here I have used the puree to make buns/pav. Adding other spices to it make this pav and an excellent snack or a dinner roll.
When any people become anemic the first and foremost food the doctor prescribe to eat is the greens/Keerai.Yes, greens have the highest content of iron in it. Ladies never care about their health and becomes anemic soon. So try to intake more greens and avoid medicines.
2.In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt, sugar, instant yeast, red chilly powder, turmeric powder,kasuri methi, garam masala, spinach puree and mix well.
3.Then add yolk, olive oil, and mix.Slowly add water make a soft dough.Cover and keep it for it to double.
4.Punch out air and cut into six parts.Make a smooth ball with each piece and keep it in a baking pan/tray.Allow it to double.
5.When doubles brush with milk and sprinkle nigella seeds over it.
6. Bake it in a pre-heated oven at 180 deg C for 22-25 mins till it browns on top.
7.Cool and serve.
