For Patties:

  • Boiled Potato-2
  • Ginger garlic paste-1\2 tsp
  • Corn flour-1 tsp(adjust)
  • Chat powder-1\2tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • oil-1 tbsp for frying
For Gravy:
  • White peas- 1\2 cup
  • Oil-1 tbsp
  • Jeera-1\2 tsp
  • Onion-1, chopped finely
  • Tomato-1, chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder-1 Tsp
  • Coriander powder-1 &1\2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1\2 tsp
  • Garam masala-1\4 tsp
  • Chat masala-1\4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves
For serving:


1. Pressure cook potato.cool and peel the skin.

2.In a mixing bowl add all ingredients given under "for patties" except oil and mix well.Make small balls of it.Gently flatten it.

3.Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry these patties.

For gravy:

1. Soak white peas for 6-8 hours.Then pressure cooks it for 3-4 whistle.

2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add jeera followed by onion, ginger garlic paste, and tomato.Saute well till oil floats on top.

3.Add all spice powder, salt, and mix well.Add the cooked peas along with water.cook until masala blends well with the peas.

4.Add chopped coriander leaves and switch off.

For serving:

1. In a serving plate first, place the few fried potato patties.Por a ladle of white peas gravy over it.

2.Add a tsp of green & sweet chutney.Sprinkle chopped onion, tomato & chopped coriander leaves.

3.Squeeze lemon juice over it and serve.
