I love mint flavored dishes due to its refreshing aroma and different taste. My daughter also has started liking it and I make this mint rice once a fortnight for their lunch box. Whenever I buy a pack of fresh I always check for new recipes to make the most for the fresh mint. As most of the leaves wither soon which hurts me lots. In all my efforts I ended up throwing at least some bunches in the garbage.

Foxtail millet idli is a healthy breakfast option in place of regular idli. I have tried idli with other millet, but in all, I have used some rice to make the batter. But in this millet idli I haven't used any rice and yet the idli turned soft. Some other idli recipes in my space include ragi instant idli, fermented ragi idli, kodo millet idli,  etc.

It had been a quite long time since I baked bread/buns at home. I remember, a month before I baked a mini-sized choco filled buns and posted on my Instagram page. I couldn't post that in my blog as I did n't take step by step pictures. So last week when I had a piece of sweet potato I decided to try dinner rolls with it and it came out well.

After posting sweet dishes for Diwali here I am with a healthy thogayal which can be mixed up with rice or can be served for idli/dosa. If using for idli/dosa slightly make it dilute with some water.Here I have posted two types of making it in which one is with coconut and the other without. For one without coconut I sourced it from here and for other, I tried my own version.
