Cauliflower pepper stir fry with step by step pictures.

When I decided to follow low carbo diet I started liking this cauliflower , until then I rarely buy it and not much interested to cook it. The only dish we often make before was cauliflower fry. But I started liking it I make soups, kurma,etc. with it. This pepper stir fry recipe with is is any easy and simple side dish. Just boiling the florests aand pany roasting with spices.

Cauliflower florets-2 cups
oil-1 tbsp
mustard-1/2 tsp
onion-1, chopped
Red chilly-1
Curry leaves-few
Garlic, 3, chopped
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp ( coarsely powdered)
Salt to taste


1. Boil the florests in water with salt for 5 mins. Switch off and close it. THis will make remove all impurities from it. Drain from water and clean in water.(optional)

2. Heat oil, pop out mustard seeds. THen add red chilly, onion, garlic, curry leaves and saute.

3. Then add the florets, salt, turmeric powder, pepper and mix well.

4. Just sprinkle water and cover it. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Switch off.

Serve for rice or roti.
