Peanut Sundal | Verkadalai Sundal
Peanut sundal is one healthy sundal which can be made in few minutes. As its festival season in India, people make a variety of sundal each day to offer to their God. This sundal can be made with or without coconut. I saw many soaks this peanut overnight and cook it. But I usually just pressure cook it which is good for me.
Chicken momos
Chicken momos with step by step pictures.
In my momos chutney post I have mentioned about this chicken momos only. I would say the momos recipe looks somewhat similar to our south Indian kozhukattai recipe. I momos the outer dough is made of maida/flour where in kozhukattai it will be rice flour. In the former we use veggie or non-veg stuffings whereas in kozhukattai we use sweet/savory stuffing and it is mostly used as festive recipe/snack/dessert.
Masoor dal payasam | Onam 2019
Masoor dal payasam with step by step pictures.
Happy Onam to all the people to celebrate it. On this special day here I am with a super yummy dessert/payasam, masoor dal payasam. I have another reason to make this dessert, there are two birthdays in a row, today my husband's and a day after tomorrow it is my birthday. So to celebrate it I made this.
Sathu mavoo karupati pidi kozhukattai | Health mix palm jaggery kozhukatai
Sathu mavoo pidi kozhukatai with step by step pictures.
For this festival season try this healthy pidi kozhukatai in alternative to your regular one. You can use either homemade sathu mavoo or store brought. Here I used store brought flour. It just takes nearly 10-15 mins to make this recipe. Dry roast the flour then make a dough with palm jaggery syrup. Make it into the desired shape and steam it.
