Narthangai pachadi with step by step picture and video.
Narthangai pachadi is one recipe which I learnt from my in-law people. I was amazed by the taste when they make. This pachdi take place in the menu of all vegetarian meals during functions. Since this pachadi is a mix of all tastes i love it.Last month when my co-sister visited us she bought two citron and made this for us. I just shot pictures .

Makes: 200 ml bottle
Ingredients: Citron-2 Small onion/shallots-15 Ginger-1 tbsp Green chilli-2, finely chopped Tamarind - big lemon size Red chilly powder- 2 tsp Coriander powder- 1 & 1/2 tsp turmeric powder-1/2 tsp Jaggery- small piece. salt to taste To temper: Gingely oil-1/4 cup Fenugreek seeds Whole red chill curry Leaves.
1. Clean the citron well and chop into small pieces. Chop shallots, ginger, green chill.
Extract tamarind juice.
2. Cook the chopped citron ginger, green chilli ,onion in tamarind water.Dilute with more warm water till the citron is well cooked.
3.Add all spice powder and cook. when it is about to become thick add jaggery and switch off.
4. Temper with the ingredients and add to it.
5. Cool completely , transfer to cleaned and dry bottle. Keep refrigerated.
